Barry Kiernan Injury Rehabilitation is devoted to helping people in their 40’s, 50’s, 60’s and above, to regain control of their lives again without pain or limitation. If you suffer with long term pain in your knee, lower back or shoulders, or had a sporting injury and been told to rest it and hope it gets better with time.... but still no improvements. In my experience this not the

best advice and the symptoms end up getting worse.

I know that people can end up relying on strong medication to help ease the pain when pain gets unbearable. But this doesn’t address the cause of your pain and can be unhealthy with long term use.

 

Maybe you are still in pain or stiff after getting a total hip or knee replacement sugary and have been left with no support or unsure if everything feels normal, after being discharged from 3 months of “physio”. If you are confused and skeptical of seeking new advice from Health professional because of bad experiences.

  • Heard it is a good idea to rest because the pain was so bad, but that only made the injury even more stiff and tense
